The kitchen, confined to diminutive proportions, yearned for liberation, as did the adjacent petite dining room. A pivotal concern rested in the dated skylights adorning the living room – relics of yesteryears, yearning for rejuvenation.

To weave the threads of transformation, a resplendent 16'-0" x 31'-0" addition was gracefully woven into the fabric of the dwelling. This addition, like an artist's brushstroke, etched a full-length deck and a sheltered patio behind the garage, extending an invitation to embrace the outdoors. The heart of the home, the kitchen, was transposed into this new space, coalescing with a dining area and a family room – an ensemble designed for both culinary artistry and leisurely repose.
Behold now, a home that welcomes with open arms, its entrance adorned with custom tile, guiding your steps onto the embrace of hardwood floors that unfurl like a warm welcome mat. The soft undulations of arches gracefully connect each room, creating a fluid symphony of spaces that beckon relaxation. A tale of origin is also inscribed here, as a fledgling craftsman embarked on his inaugural foray, adorning this project with his first tool pouch and tools, the cornerstone of his future craftsmanship.
Yet, the jewel in this remodeled crown lies in the elevation of the living room, where outmoded skylights yielded to a luminous rebirth. From their stead, a clerestory emerged, inviting a cascade of light from above eye level. With reverence for the past, the original framing stood as a testament, as skylights gave way to resplendent Pella windows, bathing the living space in inviting radiance, opening new vistas of allure.
The newfound opulence extended to the master bath, a sanctuary of intimacy. A freestanding tub, companioned by a see-through fireplace, kindles the spirit of romantic evenings, while a newly minted shower, adorned with niches, marries convenience with luxury.
In the alchemy of this remodel and addition, space and elegance entwine, and every corner resonates with the echo of thoughtful transformation.
